W. David Allen, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Economics

Hey there. Welcome to my web page at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAHuntsville), my academic location since Fall 1994. I invite you to browse the University of Arkansas and UA's excellent Walton College, where I used to study. I hope you find my site interesting/useful.
RESEARCH
My research primarily relates to the economics of crime, as seen among my published articles and working manuscripts. I am also working on Criminals and Victims, a book for Stanford University Press (2010). A few of my older papers in labor economics study various issues related to time allocation. An updated listing of my publications and working papers appears within the links below and in my curriculum vitae (PDF format).
