Academic Assistance Office
The Academic Assistance office in the College of Business Administration helps students progress toward their educational objectives.
Advising is designed to provide assistance where desired and appropriate. Advising for B.S.B.A. degree candidates is handled by the Director of Advisement at the Office of Academic Assistance, Business Administration Building Room 102.
The College's Office of Academic Assistance is a student's point of contact for information concerning possible majors, declaring a major, transfer credit and degree requirements. For additional information contact the Director of Advisement at (256) 824-6024.
Tutoring
Tutoring Services
Individual tutoring services are available through the Student Development Service. Tutoring is offered free of charge to all UAH students in variety of subjects including math, English, computer science, engineering, foreign languages, physics, chemistry, accounting, biological science and others.

Academic Resource Center
The Academic Resource Center offers free tutoring in a variety of subjects on either an appointment or drop-in basis, as well as other study assistance and mentoring programs.

Student Enrichment Support Services
The Student Enrichment Support Services is a program for students who encounter academic difficulties in their first two years at UAH and are unable to maintain GPA above 1.6 level. This retention program is tailored to work with students individually to help them achieve academic improvement.
